St Patrick’s, Soho is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and proactive Events Coordinator to help deliver a diverse programme of parish events and activities that support and enrich our growing community. Working closely with the Parish Priest, Mission Team, staff and volunteers, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering events that reflect the mission and values of the parish.

About the Role

As Events Coordinator, you will oversee the practical planning and delivery of parish events from concept through to evaluation. You will coordinate venues, suppliers, catering, equipment and logistics, ensuring events are well-organised, effectively communicated and successfully delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining a rolling programme of parish events and activities.
Managing event planning, timelines, budgets and logistical arrangements.
Coordinating with parish staff, suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth delivery.
Supporting effective communication and promotion of events across the parish.
Ensuring health and safety, safeguarding and compliance requirements are considered and addressed.
Contributing ideas for new events and helping to evaluate and improve future activities.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is not only competent in events coordinating but who also embodies our diocesan values of Competence, Reliability, Honesty, Perseverance, and Love.

Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
An effective communicator who can build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
Experienced in event coordination, project administration or a similar role.
Confident managing budgets, schedules and event documentation.
A creative problem solver who remains calm under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
