Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing and customer service, with the ability to create customised looks that enhance each client's individual style. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment, working with a diverse clientele. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining excellent client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Responsibilities

Providing a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences using only the best products by Kuene.
Offering specialised services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction with our in house beautician.
Managing appointment bookings efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Mentoring junior staff and apprentices, sharing expertise to foster professional growth within the team.
Upselling products and additional services to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
Maintaining a clean, organised work station in compliance with health and safety standards.
Assisting with store management duties as required, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising.

Skills

Proven experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of work as we will want to go into detail about a specific look you have created and how you achieved it.
Proficiency in barbering techniques is desirable.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
Experience in store management or retail sales is advantageous.
Ability to perform eyelash extensions and makeup application confidently.
Demonstrated ability in upselling products and services tactfully.
Mentoring skills to support junior staff development. This position offers an engaging environment where creativity and professionalism are highly valued. Pay: £24,420.00-£51,920.92 per year
