Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated CQC Registered Manager to lead our care service and ensure the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident care professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for the people we support and creating a positive, supportive environment for their team.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, providing strong leadership while ensuring that the service operates in line with CQC requirements, relevant legislation and company policies.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing the service to deliver consistently high standards of care.
Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and preparing the service for inspections.
Leading, motivating and developing the care team.
Overseeing recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and staff development.
Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are person-centred, accurate and regularly reviewed.
Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints appropriately.
Monitoring quality and implementing continuous improvements.
Building positive relationships with the people we support, their families, professionals and external agencies.
Ensuring appropriate staffing levels and effective rota management.
Monitoring service performance and maintaining accurate records.
Promoting a positive culture where dignity, choice, independence and respect are at the heart of everything we do.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous management experience within health and social care.
Experience working within a CQC-regulated service.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.
A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or a willingness to work towards an appropriate qualification.
Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
Strong communication and organisational abilities.
A proactive approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
A genuine commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Care Manager or Service Manager would be advantageous.
