Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic and Commercial Cleaner Contractor to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to contribute to a reputable cleaning service. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in both domestic and commercial settings, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
Maintain a tidy storage of cleaning supplies and equipment after use
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the correct handling of cleaning chemicals
Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes whilst maintaining quality standards

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills and reliability
Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning environments and schedules
A positive attitude and professional approach towards clients and team members

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
