Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all skill levels. This role involves creating training programmes, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement effective training sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
Educate athletes on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
Monitor and assess athletes' performance, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship.
Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to develop comprehensive training plans.
Maintain clear communication with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and expectations.

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential.
Strong knowledge of the specific sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate athletes effectively.
Experience working with diverse groups of individuals is advantageous.
A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering an enjoyable sporting experience for all participants.
