Job Title: Chef / Cook - Self Employed

We have the best location in the heart of the fabulous, foodie, affluent town of Lewes, near to Brighton in East Sussex.

We serve amazing Coffee, Teas, Milk Shakes and Smoothies, along with great Cakes and amazing Snacks, including freshly made Panini's and Bagels. We are also fully licensed and we serve great wines, beers and cocktails.

Now we are looking for a self employed fantastic Chef / Cook to take total ownership of our main food Menu, driving sales growth, but here is the big difference. The associated food sales revenue is all yours...!!

Set your own work times and days each week. We are open 7 days per week. Create your own fabulous food items and delicious Menu's.

Serve and satisfy hundreds or thousands of Customers every week. We enjoy huge amounts of year round trade.

If you are passionate about great food and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and want unlimited income, we invite you to be part of our dynamic team.

Duties:

- Oversee your own food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

- Create and execute your own Menu items with creativity and attention to detail.

- Manage your own kitchen staff, if required, including training and supervision.

- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for your own ingredients as needed.

- Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and menu concepts.

- Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen workspace.

- Uphold high standards of quality control to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Skills:

- Proficiency in culinary techniques and meal preparation.

- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate kitchen staff.

- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in your own dedicated kitchen.

- Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment.

- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure setting.

- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.

- Passion for creating innovative dishes that delight customers.
