Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operation of our establishment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and ensure they receive attentive service throughout their visit
Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery
Assist with food preparation and presentation in accordance with food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing tables and setting up for new guests
Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling of food items
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required
Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve all guests efficiently
Pot washing will also be expected
Online Training will be expected to be completed.
You will be expected to be flexible with shifts will include, days, weekends, evenings

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transaction purposes
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
Experience in serving, upselling, and guest relations is preferred but not mandatory
Kitchen or culinary experience will be considered a plus but is not essential

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
