Vehicle Technician

Location: Stowmarket

Salary: Generous salary and achievable bonus scheme

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our supportive team in Stowmarket. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Working with modern equipment and tools, you will gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing a wide variety of makes and models.

The Role:

Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements.
Communicate effectively with the workshop team to ensure an efficient workflow.

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred, but experience is valued).
Ideally proficient in vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques across all makes and models.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical).
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude.
An MOT Tester licence is a bonus but is in no way essential.

Hours:

Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:30pm (Every other week)
