About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Fulfillment & Event Technology Manager to lead our UK operations and technical team.

This role combines team leadership, operational ownership, and technical oversight. You will ensure that all equipment is prepared, configured, and delivered to the highest standards—while actively supporting your team in day-to-day execution when needed.

You are not just managing processes—you are driving performance, quality, and reliability in a fast-paced event environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

Own and manage daily fulfillment operations (order preparation, shipping, returns)
Ensure all processes run efficiently and meet defined quality standards
Plan and prioritise workloads in line with project timelines and deadlines
Drive continuous improvement in workflows, accuracy, and turnaround times

Team Management

Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of Event Technology Specialists
Act as the first point of escalation for operational and technical issues
Foster a hands-on, accountable, and team-oriented culture
Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members

Technical Oversight

Oversee the configuration and testing of event technology (iPads, laptops, printers, RFID systems)
Ensure all equipment is fully functional, clean, and event-ready
Support complex setups and troubleshooting when required
Coordinate with international support teams on technical topics

Inventory & Asset Management

Maintain full visibility and accuracy of inventory
Oversee stock counts, equipment lifecycle, and maintenance processes
Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of all assets

What You Bring

Proven experience in operations, logistics, or technical service environments
First experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
Strong hands-on mentality—you are willing to step in and support operational work
Solid technical understanding of hardware and IT equipment
Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven approach
Ability to prioritise and perform under time pressure
Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset

Requirements

3–5+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience managing or coordinating teams
Confident with IT systems, hardware setup, and operational tools
Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Working Environment

This is a hybrid operational leadership role:

You will split your time between managing, coordinating, and hands-on support
Regular presence in the warehouse and operations area is required
Occasional physical involvement in equipment handling and setup
