Waterproofing Renderer

Location: London and surrounding home counties
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Job Summary

Renlon Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Waterproofing Renderer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying waterproof rendering systems and protective coatings to residential, commercial, and industrial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes and long-lasting weather protection.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for waterproof rendering, including cleaning, repairing, and priming substrates.
Apply waterproof render systems, cementitious coatings, tanking systems, and associated products in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Install mesh reinforcement, render beads, and other components required for rendering systems.
Mix and apply render materials using hand and machine application techniques.
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
Identify and report defects, moisture issues, or substrate problems before application.
Work safely and comply with all health and safety regulations on-site.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.
Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
Complete projects within agreed timescales while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Skills and ExperienceEssential

Previous experience in waterproof rendering, external wall insulation or specialist rendering systems.
Strong knowledge of waterproofing products and application methods.
Ability to read and follow technical specifications and drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Valid CSCS card.
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering, Rendering, or a related trade.
Experience with liquid waterproofing membranes and tanking systems.
