Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships.

Duties

Serve drinks and food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems
Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy using basic maths skills
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts
Maintain a safe environment by following health and safety regulations

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
Basic maths proficiency for handling payments accurately
