Job Title: Care Assistant

Bloomfield Care Home are looking for exceptional care assistants to join our team of carers.

Bloomfield offer high quality residential and dementia care for those over 65.

Job Description

Getting to know residents and their interests and needs
Undertake daily record keeping duties
Helping with personal care like washing, using the toilet and dressing
Serving out meals, drinks and snacks
Carrying out general tasks like housework, laundry and shopping

Job Type / Category

Care Assistant – This is a 20 to 40 hour post with the possibility of increasing those hours if required.

The post will include weekends and bank holidays. The rotas are done 4 weeks in advance so all staff have plenty of notice of which shifts they will be working.

Our staff are recruited for their caring and considerate nature, in the knowledge that each of them plays a crucial role in our residents welfare.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

The candidate must be willing to work towards QCF Level 2.
Bloomfield requires two references.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Bloomfield also expects the candidate to fund their DBS which would be refunded after a successful probationary period.
The candidate must be able to work as part of a team and alone, and have good leadership skills.
Must be a motivated individual with a genuine passion for working in the care sector
