Full job description

We are a growing local furniture company specialising in British built home furniture. We are looking for committed and conscientious people to join our delivery and installation team.

The role is a practical hands on role which involves delivering and installing furniture in customer's homes across the UK, providing the highest levels of service and professionalism.

As a member of the delivery team you will work as part of a two man team and you will mostly be working in customer's homes, so a freindly demeanour with good communication and customer skills are really important.

Being a 'People Person' is kind of essential!

This is a varied and interesting role, you will get to see all parts of the country, meet some lovely people, assemble furniture in some lovely homes and finish your day with the satisfaction of a job well done.

We are looking for candidates who are based in, or very close to, Cirencester and who enjoy an early start. The delivery crews usually leave the warehouse between 6am and 7am depending upon the days schedule.

The role is full time - Monday to Friday.

We deliver to customers nationwide and so you will occsionally need to stay away overnight (1-2 times per month). When that is the case we always provide hotel accomodation, expenses and an overnight allowance.

You will need to be fit and strong (our furniture is heavy), ideally you will have some experience of driving Luton type vans and a decent grasp of UK Geography.

We need more than just a driver for these delivery roles, a practical mind with an aptitude for assembly and problem solving is essential.

Starting Salary is £27,500 per annum plus potential for regular bonus and an overnight allowance when applicable, currently £50 per trip.
