Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing grilled dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in meal preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace at all times
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
Serve dishes to customers when required, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
Follow all health and safety procedures to uphold a safe working environment

Experience

Proven experience as a Grill Chef or similar role within a restaurant setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is desirable
Familiarity with restaurant operations and serving procedures is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
