About our Nursery
Busy Bees Leicester Meridian Park, rated "Good" by Ofsted and with a capacity of 130 children, provides a loving, stimulating, and engaging environment for children to thrive academically and emotionally. Our nursery features a spacious outdoor area with a large garden divided into dedicated spaces for each age group, allowing seamless free flow for children to explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors. Conveniently located in Meridian Leisure and Business Park, just off the A563 and a short 5-minute drive from the M1 at Junction 21 and the M69 at Junction 3, we are also an 8-minute walk from the nearest bus stop on Owen Close, which serves multiple routes. Role Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements for children.
Support the Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure kitchen inventory is well-maintained and assist with ordering and stock management.
Support meal preparation and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate

Ideally experience in leadership within early years settings.
Strong mentoring and problem-solving skills.
Ability to drive improvements and ensure compliance.
