Full job description

We are a small, high-end private dental practice located in Billericay high street with a team of experienced clinicians and a strong focus on excellent patient care.

We offer general dentistry including Invisalign, dental implants and facial aesthetics. We are seeking the right candidate to join our team as a receptionist. We would prefer a candidate with dental experience but are also happy to consider a candidate with some dental knowledge who is motivated and enthusiastic to learn.

Our practice is built on providing honest, ethical dental care in a welcoming environment. We prioritise the safety and well-being of our patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with some dental experience and strong administrative and communication skills, who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the practice

Key Responsibilities

Front-of -house reception duties, including welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, taking payments and handling enquiries.
Guiding patients through their treatment journey with care and clarity.
Utilise SOE dental IT systems effectively to manage patient information.
Communicate effectively with team members and patients, ensuring clarity in all interactions.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental practice environment is preferred.
A background in dental nursing is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
A patient, friendly demeanour with a focus on customer service excellence.
A team player who is organised, proactive and patient-focused.
