Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team at Bowden Bakery. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our café remains a welcoming space for all customers. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working with people, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing recommendations.
Handle food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all items are prepared to the highest quality.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Keep track of inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
A commitment to food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene.
A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued is crucial for success in this role.
