Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring efficient stock management and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse operations,. The position is suitable for individuals with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Efficiently pick items from inventory according to order specifications using manual handling techniques
Load and unload goods safely, ensuring correct placement within the warehouse
Prepare orders for shipping by packing items securely and accurately, adhering to quality control standards
Assist with stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and maintaining organised storage areas
Conduct regular checks on stock accuracy and report discrepancies or damages promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in warehouse management or logistics is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
Knowledge of materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting and safe manual handling practices
Experience with forklift operation is advantageous; valid certification is desirable
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and quality control processes
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and stand for extended periods

12.00 to 20.30

14.00 to 22.00 on Sunday
