About the Role

Bridgend has a strong mix of industrial, commercial, and service based businesses and at Hestad Industrial and Commercial Services we help keep day to day operations organised, responsive, and aligned with business priorities.

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator who can support scheduling, workflow tracking, supplier communication, service activity, and general operational administration across multiple workstreams.

You will work closely with project, commercial, procurement, maintenance, and service teams to help ensure tasks are completed on time, records are accurate, and operational issues are followed through effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Coordination: Support day to day operational activity and help ensure tasks, schedules, and service requirements are organised effectively.

Scheduling: Coordinate meetings, service activities, site visits, deadlines, and internal work priorities across different teams.

Workflow Tracking: Maintain operational trackers, monitor outstanding actions, and follow up with relevant teams when deadlines are approaching.

Supplier Support: Communicate with suppliers and service providers regarding schedules, documentation, deliveries, and routine operational requirements.

Project Support: Assist project teams with documentation, action tracking, scheduling, and general coordination activities.

Record Management: Maintain accurate operational records, reports, service notes, and supporting business documentation.

Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear updates to internal teams, suppliers, and clients regarding progress, scheduling, and outstanding actions.

Process Improvement: Identify practical ways to improve communication, workflow efficiency, and day to day operational processes.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in operations coordination, project support, service administration, commercial support, or a closely related role.

Organisation: Strong planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities at the same time.

Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills with confidence working with internal teams, suppliers, and external contacts.

Attention to Detail: Able to maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and identify missing or inconsistent information.

Problem Solving: Practical and dependable with the ability to identify operational issues early and help coordinate suitable solutions.

Commercial Awareness: Comfortable working with supplier information, service requirements, schedules, and basic operational data.

Tools: Experience with Microsoft Office, project tracking systems, CRM platforms, or business administration software is preferred.

Mindset: You are organised, proactive, and dependable. You take ownership of operational tasks, communicate clearly, and stay focused on helping teams work efficiently and deliver consistently.

Pay: £2,500.00-£3,000.00 per month
