Full job description

Kelleher Group Maintenance Ltd are an expanding Building, M&E, Gas and Specialist Works Contractor with a bespoke approach to the planning and execution of our clients’ wishes. We are focused on health and safety, quality and the protection of the environment.

About the role **Immediate start**

We are currently seeking a Skilled Multi Trade operative to complete both planned and reactive maintenance works in both domestic and commercial settings within the social housing public sector works ranging through out London, and the outskirts.

The works will be varied in nature and will require both speed and precision. You must be an experienced multi trader, at least qualified in one or more trades or time served in the building industry.

You must be organised to carry out a multiple number of tasks or calls per day as directed by the works planning team ensuring we are carrying out an efficient service within our service level agreements.

You must be reliable, trustworthy, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent communication skills and fantastic attention to detail. The successful applicant must have a skilled background.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7.30am to 5pm - Including Travelling Time

Before applying, please ensure you fulfil the following criteria:

The works will be varied in nature and will require both speed and precision

· Phone literate and can use a PDA system to communicate job status, photos, and completion

· Clean UK Driver’s License

· City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 qualification in one or more trades

· Up-to-date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

· Social housing experience (not essential)

· ASAP interview and start

· Please note that this role may require a DBS Check

· General multi-trade

· Possess skills in other trades to aid job completion

· Work on both planned and reactive maintenance, including general build, void fit-out, and refurbishment

· Inspect properties and sites, conduct repairs and maintenance.

· Kitchen and Bathroom Fitting

· Bricklaying

· Carpentry

· Floor fitting, laminate, carpet, and vinyl

· Kitchen Fitting

· Basic aspects of plumbing changing taps etc

· Making goods, patch repairs, and painting

· Painting & Decorating

· Plastering

· Plumbing

· Roof repairs

· Tiling

· Fencing

· Guttering / external works

· Competent in brickwork, paving, fencing and gates, and associated groundworks (not essential).

· Competent in all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, including but not limited to studwork, kitchen fitting, door lining, door, and architrave fitment, skirting, and flooring

· Door remedials and Lock replacements

· Lock and window handle renewal

· Read drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirement.

· Take measurements to calculate the size and amount of material needed

· Build temporary scaffolding and other workers on-site

· Fire Doors

· Pest Proofing

· Perform all other relevant duties as requested

Pay: £38,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
