Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to support the smooth running of our office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Manage and organize incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages.

Maintain and update office records, files, and databases.

Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.

Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring stock levels are sufficient.

Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense reports.

Support staff with document preparation, formatting, and printing.

Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Ensure the office is clean, tidy, and well-organized.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous experience as an Office Assistant, Administrator, or similar role is desirable.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.

A professional and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting.

Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.

Relevant certifications in administration or secretarial work.

Pay: £27,000.00-£38,500.00 per year
