Full job description

As Court Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and smooth running of Osborne Court. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, oversee operational and financial management, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, contractors, and the Board of Directors.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines leadership, people management, customer service, compliance, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operation of Osborne Court.
Lead, motivate and support staff including Duty Managers, Housekeeping Assistants, Cook and Handyman.
Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff members.
Develop and maintain individual risk plans and support residents' wellbeing and independence.
Manage staff rotas, performance, disciplinary matters, and absence management.
Monitor budgets, maintain financial records and liaise with accountants and managing agents.
Coordinate contractors and external service providers.
Oversee health and safety, fire safety, and preventative maintenance programmes.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
Attend Board meetings and prepare management reports.
Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and excellent customer service throughout the organisation.
Manage marketing and resales of property.

About You

We are looking for a compassionate, organised, and proactive manager who is passionate about supporting older people and creating a positive community environment.

Essential Requirements

Level 5 or above NVQ in Leadership Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
Experience working within the health, social care, or housing sector.
Experience managing and leading teams.
Strong understanding of the needs of older people.
Excellent administration and IT skills including accountancy systems such as QuickBooks/Zero
Strong communication, organisational and people management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Qualification & experience

Budget management
Bookkeeping
Strategic development and planning
Supervisory or Management qualification.
Previous experience in a similar leadership role.

Pay: From £37,481.00 per year

Work Location: In person
