Guest experience assistant, Westfield

Job description:

Fixed-term contract: 13th July to (approx) 30th August 2026

Are you a hospitality worker with a passion for delivering great guest experiences?

We’re looking for full-time Guest Experience Assistants to join our team at our pop-up hotel, Westfield, as part of Argyl’s seasonal portfolio. This is a full-time role, with contracts approx 40 hours per week.

About us
We’re Argyl, a hospitality and property management company operating across the UK and Ireland. We focus on simple, high-quality stays: clean, comfortable spaces, friendly service, and local knowledge.

The role
Westfield is student accommodation during the academic year and operates as a short-term hotel over the summer.

You’ll be part of the Guest Experience Team, supporting check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest queries, and helping maintain high standards across the site. This is a hands-on role, you’ll be active across the building.

What you’ll do

Support day-to-day operations across the site, keeping spaces clean, organised, and guest-ready.
Assist guests with check-ins, questions, and general support throughout their stay.
Handle basic bookings, payments, and reservations (training provided).
Work closely with the team to keep everything running smoothly and communicate clearly throughout shifts.

What we’re looking for

Reliable, practical, and happy to get stuck in.
Confident working with people and delivering good service.
Organised and comfortable using basic systems.
Calm under pressure and able to adapt when things get busy.
A team player who communicates clearly and works well with others.

Contract details

Full-time role, 40 hours per week.
Shifts are scheduled ahead of time, with a mix of mornings and evenings (up until 12am).
Pay will be from £13.50 per hour, DOE, paid monthly.
Applicants should be available for the full contract period.
Accomodation may be available, depending on requirements.
