Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Part Time Hotel Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, providing excellent guest services, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This position offers flexible hours perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Answer phone calls promptly using professional phone etiquette
Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently to ensure satisfaction
Maintain the front desk area in an organized and tidy manner
Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and well-maintained

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service preferred but not required; hospitality experience is a plus
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse guests
Excellent communication skills with strong phone etiquette
Friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic computer systems and reservation software is advantageous
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest services

Pay: £25,420.00-£36,066.71 per year
