Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Assistant (Bank) to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. This flexible role offers the opportunity to contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and Residents. As a Housekeeping Assistant (Bank), you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable space, supporting the overall well-being of everyone within our organization. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold our commitment to excellence in cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces throughout the premises
Ensure all Resident areas, offices, corridors, and communal spaces are maintained to high standards of hygiene
Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to deliver thorough cleaning results
Follow strict health and safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests or urgent sanitation needs as they arise
Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with organizational policies
Support infection control measures by adhering to hospital or facility-specific cleaning procedures

Skills

Proven experience in, preferably within healthcare or hospital environments
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, disinfectants, and safety procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and respond to requests efficiently
