Full job description

Job title Sales Administrator

Reports to Sales Admin Manager

Job purpose

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Administrator to join our growing team within the sales and account management department of our production facility. This is a full-time, office-based role supporting our Sales Team in delivering a high level of service to our customers.

Please note that we are based in Stow Maries which is a remote location and not accessible by public transport.

Duties and responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Account Manager and wider Sales Team.
Respond to customer calls and action their requests under the guidance of the Account Manager.
Handle customer enquiries in the Account Manager’s absence.
Liaise with customers to chase for artwork, drawing approvals, purchase order numbers, and delivery details.
Contact retailers for necessary approvals.
Coordinate with in-house departments to progress design drawings, artwork, and cost quotations.
Manage price queries and prepare quotations for customers.
Raise customer orders and submit to the Project Management team.
Occasionally accompany the Account Manager on customer visits.
Maintain a database of customer-supplied (free issue) items.
Help track and manage critical timings for smaller value projects.
Provide holiday cover for the Account Manager.
Keep project tracker sheets updated and distribute them weekly.

Qualifications

Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Personable, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Focused, goal-oriented, and able to work to deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
