Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as School Multi Sports and Football Coaches. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners through engaging sports activities, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a love for physical activity. The successful candidates will deliver organised coaching sessions across a variety of sports, including football, in a school environment. This paid position is ideal for those passionate about sports coaching and teaching, looking to make a positive impact on children's development.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging multi-sport coaching sessions tailored to different age groups within the school setting.
Lead football training programmes, encouraging skill development and sportsmanship among participants.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes participation and enjoyment for all children.
Monitor and assess individual progress, providing constructive feedback to support skill improvement.
Maintain organised equipment and ensure all sporting activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and pupils regarding programme activities and progress.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour during all coaching sessions.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably with children or young people.
Strong knowledge of football and other popular sports suitable for school-age children.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage young learners.
Organised, reliable, and able to plan sessions that are both fun and educational.
Ability to work flexibly within school hours, including after-school programmes if required.
A recognised coaching qualification or relevant sports-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
A positive attitude with a genuine passion for promoting physical activity among children.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check which company will carry out.

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
