Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing, with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant five star salon environment where creativity and client satisfaction are at the forefront. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair styling services, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our salon. Previous experience in colour work or barbering is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Providing a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colour, blow-drying, and specialised treatments.
Offering personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon environment.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business through excellent customer service and upselling of products or additional services.
Managing front desk duties such as appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and handling enquiries efficiently.
Promoting retail products to enhance client experience and maximise revenue.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
A minimum 3 years experience within a Salon.
Skills in colour work, barbering and upselling are an advantage
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
Demonstrated ability in customer service with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently.
