Job description – Temporary Packing Operative/Packer

Post Details Hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm - 5 days per week inc. ½ hour paid lunch - Mon-Fri

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract – 28th September until 18th December

Salary: £13.10 per hour

Location: Working at our Halstock, Somerset office/warehouse premises - We do not offer any remote working

STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE

**We are based in Halstock, near Yeovil, Somerset- therefore own transport is essential**

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to support our team over the busy Christmas period. This temporary role will primarily involve assisting in our packing room, fulfilling online customer orders, and preparing products for Amazon fulfilment centres.

Full Training will be given in all aspects of this post

Key responsibilities include:

Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Preparing stock for shipment to Amazon fulfilment centres
Some heavy lifting of boxes of stock as required for production
Ensuring a good level of health & safety is maintained in the workplace

What we’re looking for:

A strong attention to detail
Good time management and reliability
Good level of physical fitness
Ability to perform manual handling and manage regular heavy lifting
Ability to work alone to carry out most tasks, as well as working as part of our team
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Punctuality and reliability
To be honest & hard working
Willingness to work in both a packing/postal room and warehouse environment

Pay: £13.10 per hour
