Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Hygiene Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring food safety standards are maintained across our operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about quality assurance and food safety, with a focus on analysis skills and meticulous attention to detail. The role involves conducting inspections, analysing hygiene practices, and implementing improvements to uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and storage areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Analyse hygiene practices and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and implement hygiene protocols aligned with industry regulations and best practices.
Monitor cleanliness levels of equipment, surfaces, and facilities, ensuring they meet required standards.
Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of food safety awareness.
Document inspection findings accurately and prepare reports for review by senior management.
Assist in training staff on hygiene procedures and compliance requirements.
Stay updated with current legislation and industry standards related to food hygiene.

Experience

Proven experience in quality assurance or food safety roles is highly desirable.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues.
Knowledge of relevant food safety legislation and hygiene standards.
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£50,465.43 per year
