About Us

CoolBlades is a UK-based supplier of hairdressing, barbering and beauty products, serving salon professionals and enthusiasts across the country through our e-commerce site. We're looking for an experienced Google Ads Specialist to help us get more out of our paid search activity on a flexible, contract basis.

The Role

We're after a hands-on Google Ads specialist to manage and optimise our search and shopping campaigns. This is a part-time contract role at 30 hours a month, with one day a week based at our office and the rest worked remotely.

What You'll Be Doing

Planning, building and managing Google Ads campaigns, including Search and Shopping
Managing and optimising our Google Merchant Center product feed to support Shopping campaigns
Conducting keyword research and refining targeting to improve relevance and reduce wasted spend
Monitoring budgets, bids and campaign performance to hit agreed cost and return targets
Setting up and maintaining conversion tracking and reporting through Google Analytics (GA4)
Producing regular performance reports with clear, actionable recommendations
Testing ad copy, extensions and landing pages to improve click-through and conversion rates
Keeping up with Google Ads platform changes and applying best practice as it evolves

What We're Looking For

Proven experience managing Google Ads accounts, ideally for an e-commerce business
Strong working knowledge of Google Merchant Center and Shopping campaigns
Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and conversion tracking setup
Confident analysing data and turning it into practical recommendations
Comfortable working independently and reporting on results without close supervision
Good communication skills and the ability to explain performance in plain English
Google Ads certification is a plus but not essential
