Job Title: Customer Service Administrator (6 Month FTC)

Salary: £26,500

PQE: 1 years’ experience in an administrative-type role

Hours: 8:30am to 5.00pm

Location: Burnley, Lancashire (Head Office), Sell UK Property Ltd (BB12 7TY), In Person, Office Based

Job Type: Full-time, 6 Month FTC

Role Overview

This role is a General Administration position focused on supporting day-to-day business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with tenants, maintaining accurate records, arranging and managing works and tickets, and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly. A proactive approach, strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and outstanding organisational abilities are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities

Managing general day-to-day business administration
Communicating professionally with colleagues, contractors and tenants
Providing a high standard of customer service when handling enquiries
Logging and maintaining accurate information and records
Organising and prioritising tasks to ensure timely completion
Updating and monitoring tickets and workflow systems
Supporting administrative processes and ensuring they are followed correctly
Taking ownership of tasks and proactively managing workloads

Key Skills Required  

Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
Professional and confident telephone manner
Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
Good typing speed and attention to detail
Strong organisational and administrative abilities
Ability to follow processes and procedures consistently
Good general IT skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and confidence using business systems and software
Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative
Strong time-management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Property industry knowledge or experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
