Full job description

We are currently seeking a Graduate Operations and HR Administrator to join our team based in Armagh. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across operations recruitment, workforce mobilisation, recruitment administration and general HR support within a fast-paced engineering and construction environment. You will work closely with Operations, Recruitment and HR teams to coordinate labour force hiring, support employee onboarding and assist with the administrative processes required to mobilise employees across multiple projects. This position would suit a highly organised and driven graduate who is looking to develop a career in operations, recruitment or human resources.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end recruitment activities for operations/site-based positions
Assist with posting vacancies, managing applications and maintaining candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System
Coordinate interviews and scheduling activities between candidates, hiring managers and project teams
Support employee onboarding and mobilisation processes to ensure documentation is completed within required timelines
Maintain accurate recruitment, onboarding and personnel records
Liaise with candidates, employees and internal stakeholders regarding recruitment and onboarding queries
Support workforce planning activities through the tracking and reporting of recruitment and mobilisation progress
Provide administrative support to Operations and HR/Recruitment as required
Assist with training coordination, employee communications and general HR administration
Support process improvement initiatives and other operational projects as required

Requirements

Previous administration experience and/or a recently completed degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, employees and stakeholders both by phone and in person
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and data
Ability to use initiative and work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced recruitment and operations environment, supporting multiple high volume hiring and administrative activities simultaneously
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Full driving licence and access to your own transport
