Full job description

Riversley Road Surgery is a 4 partner, town centre training practice in Nuneaton. We provide full general medical services to our practice population of 7200 patients.

There is 1 positions of 24.5 hours per week, the working hours will be Monday 8am-6:30pm, Tuesday 8am - 1:30pm, Wednesday 8am - 6:30pm.

Please do not apply if you are not able to start and finish at these times.

We are looking for a part-time receptionist/admin. The role is a vital element of the practice at being the first point of contact with patients and visitors via the telephone as well as face to face. We are looking to recruit additional dedicated team players who are comfortable with working in a busy environment.

Applications are invited from candidates with the following:

Computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office and adaptable to a variety of software packages
Excellent communication and listening skills
Administration skills, being able to successfully multi task
Sound numeracy and literacy skills
Customer service experience having the ability to deal with patients on the phone and in person in a professional and compassionate manner
Attention to detail with the capability to concentrate on critical tasks
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

We welcome applications from candidates who are experienced in EMIS and DOCMAN software. Full training is provided in both areas to the right applicants. Candidates must be able to work the shift pattern of 8:00am through to 6.30 pm and be available to cover shifts in times of absence. Rates of pay meet the minimum wage requirements per hour with NHS pension scheme available. PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY.
