Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista to join our team! In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve customers with enthusiasm, and ensure a welcoming environment and get to know your customers. Your passion for great service and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care
Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness throughout the workspace
Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including handling light food items and snacks
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Keep the work area organized, stocked, and hygienic at all times
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Requirements

Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Enthusiastic attitude with excellent communication skills
