Full job description

Silverways Nursing Home is seeking an organised and proactive Data Entry Administrator to join our dedicated team. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing essential administrative support while managing staff rotas and payroll information to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our nursing home.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support, including filing, data entry, record keeping, answering telephone calls, and responding to enquiries.
Manage the daily operation of online payroll and rota systems, ensuring staffing information is accurate and submitted within required deadlines.
Check and maintain staff rotas, timesheets, overtime, additional hours, sickness, annual leave, and absence records.
Input, update, and verify payroll and staffing data in line with company procedures.
Work closely with management to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and arrange cover where required.
Act as a professional point of contact for staff, residents, families, visitors, and external agencies.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the home and assist with additional administrative duties as required.
Promote and safeguard the wellbeing and welfare of residents at all times.

About You

Previous experience in an administration or rota coordination role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Professional, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Experience within a care setting is desirable but not essential.
