This role sits within a busy team of enthusiastic people who are great at dealing with a wide range of enquiries from a large and diverse customer base through digital, phone and face to face contact.

About the role

The role provides front-line administrative and helpdesk support for health, safety, wellbeing, and building services, acting as the main point of contact for enquiries and maintenance requests. It ensures work orders are logged, tracked, and completed efficiently while maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance, and enabling the wider team to focus on technical service delivery.

You will be great at helping people and working under pressure, sensitively supporting customers from all backgrounds that use a wide range of property types which includes large corporate offices, schools, social care, and libraries. Having the ability to efficiently and effectively triage a large number of maintenance repair requests and general enquiries is key to succeeding in this role.

You will have strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills combined with experience in administrative helpdesk support, facilities or maintenance coordination, and the ability to manage systems, data, and multiple priorities effectively.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
