Full job description

Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: £28,000–£31,000 DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Full-time | Office-based | ASAP start

We are looking for a confident, outgoing and highly organised Administration & Customer Service Assistant to join a rapidly growing air conditioning company based in Rochester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with great people skills and a brilliant personality who enjoys speaking with customers and wants to become an important part of a growing business.

You'll be a key point of contact for new and existing customers, managing enquiries and incoming leads, booking site surveys and coordinating appointments with the wider team. This role will be very telephone based with both inbound and outbound calls.

The Role

Handling incoming customer enquiries and leads
Speaking with customers by phone and email
Booking and coordinating site surveys
Managing diaries and appointments
Liaising between customers, surveyors, engineers and the wider team
Following up enquiries and keeping customers updated
General office administration and maintaining accurate records
Helping keep the day-to-day office running smoothly

We're looking for someone who is friendly, energetic, confident and naturally engaging. You'll have a great telephone manner, strong organisational skills and genuinely enjoy dealing with people.

Previous administration, customer service, sales support or office experience would be beneficial. Industry experience is not essential – personality, attitude and customer service skills are particularly important.

The company is growing rapidly, with more staff joining the team as the business expands. For the right person, there is genuine potential for this position to develop into an Office Manager role, with increasing responsibility for the office and wider team.

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
