Full job description

Hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (45hrs per week)

Annual Leave:25 days plus bank holidays

Description & overall purpose of job role

Maintain good house-keeping in the warehouse

Ensuring security of stocks & warehouse

Processing goods in, goods out, picking and packing of customer orders and inter branch transfers.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP (S)

Reports to the Branch Manager & Regional Director

BEW Branch Managers, Assistant Branch Managers, Warehouse Supervisors

LOCATION OF JOB

Branch based – Farnborough

KEY TASKS TO BE COMPLETED BY THE JOB HOLDER

Assembling orders from stock and checking against relevant paperwork.
Ensure that all administration requirements are maintained and completed accurately, and relevant paperwork accompanies all transactions.
Inspecting goods received, recording details on GRN screen and putting goods away.
Ensuring warehouse is clean & tidy.
Be aware of correct H&S obligations working in a warehouse
To at all times adopt an ‘up beat’, positive attitude and to act in a courteous and professional manner in dealings with customers, suppliers and other staff.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PERSON

Experience preferred but not essential

Previous warehouse experience within electrical wholesaler industry would be advantageous but full training will be given.
