Graphic Designer Part Time - approx 25 hours per week (5 hours per day)

About the Role

Footprint Group is looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team and play a key role in the design and production of our Forget Me Not magazine publications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is passionate about creating adverts for clients and editorial design. You’ll work across print and digital content, bringing articles, features, and advertising to life through engaging, high-quality layouts.

You’ll be involved throughout the creative process, from developing initial concepts and page layouts through to preparing final artwork.

Key Responsibilities

Design and produce engaging layouts for client adverts, magazine features, editorial content and covers and supplements
Work closely with the editorial team to translate written content into compelling visuals
Develop creative concepts and maintain a consistent visual identity across publications.
Select and work with photography, illustrations, typography and other visual assets.
Prepare artwork to a high standard for print publications
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Work collaboratively with the production and sales team

Ensure all work meets brand guidelines and maintains a high level of visual consistency.

Keep up to date with current trends in editorial, graphic and digital design.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is creative, organised and highly detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in magazine and editorial design.

You’ll ideally have:

Previous experience in graphic design, preferably within a magazine, publishing, media or agency environment.
A strong portfolio demonstrating editorial and layout design.
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and Canva.
A strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
Excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of print production and artwork specifications.
The ability to manage your own workload and work to tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A proactive approach, with the confidence to contribute creative ideas and solutions.
