Full job description

We’re Hiring! Part-Time Office Admin Assistant

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Office Admin Assistant to join our team in Groby, working within the electronics industry.

This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, helping with day-to-day office tasks and being part of a friendly team.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
10–15 hours per week with flexible working hours
£15 per hour
Pro-rata holiday entitlement

The role will involve a variety of general office and admin duties, helping to keep everything running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised, has good communication skills and is happy to work independently as well as part of the team.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails
Maintaining accurate filing systems both digitally and physically
Assisting with data entry and record keeping to ensure information accuracy
Preparing sales orders, purchase orders and other documentation as required
Packing and shipping orders to customers globally
Communication with customers and suppliers
Quality checking a wide range of products using visual and technical methods
Supporting team members with various administrative tasks to enhance overall efficiency
Ordering office supplies and managing inventory levels
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy, welcoming, and well-organised

Requirements

Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst being a team player
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken
Friendly professional demeanour with a positive attitude
Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is desirable but not essential
Basic understanding of office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephony systems
