Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries with accurate information.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the practice.
Uphold a clean and organised reception area.

Requirements

Previous office experience is essential; experience in a dental or medical setting is preferred.
Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in using office software and equipment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are crucial for maintaining accurate records.
