Customer Service & Counter Team Member

Hennighan's Fish & Chips

Part-Time | 10–30 Hours Per Week

The Role

As a Customer Service & Counter Team Member, you'll play a key role in delivering the high standards that our customers have come to expect from Hennighan's.

Your responsibilities will include:

Taking customer orders in both our takeaway and restaurant areas
Serving and presenting food to company standards
Boxing takeaway and online orders accurately and efficiently
Assisting with basic kitchen preparation, including sauces and salad preparation
Maintaining cleanliness throughout customer and kitchen areas
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Maintaining excellent personal presentation and uniform standards
Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service at all times

What We're Looking For

We are seeking individuals who:

Have a positive and friendly attitude
Enjoy working as part of a team
Can provide excellent customer service
Are reliable and have good attention to detail
Are willing to learn and develop new skills
Can work flexibly across daytime, evening and weekend shifts

Previous hospitality, catering or retail experience would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidates.

Hours

10–30 hours per week
Daytime, evening and weekend shifts available
Fixed 3-week rota pattern
Flexible contracts available depending on availability and business needs

Pay & Benefits

£12.71–£13.73 per hour depending on experience
Tips in addition to hourly pay
