Job Overview

We are seeking EXPERIENCED enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and work within a dynamic team. Previous experience in a bar is ESSENTIAL. Applicants MUST be able to work late nights and weekends

Duties

Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Assist in preparing garnishes and basic bar mixes as required
Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and promote specials or events
Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating good time management skills
Support team members during service to ensure smooth operation of the venue

Requirements

Previous experience in bar service is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and professionally
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing demands of the role
A friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude
Must be at least 18 years old and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
