Inbound Sales & Reservations Executive

The Silent Disco Company

The Silent Disco Company is one of the UK's leading silent disco and event hire companies, supplying equipment and events to thousands of customers across the UK every year. We're continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced, confident and commercially driven Inbound Sales & Reservations Executive to join our sales team.

This isn't a cold-calling telesales role.

You'll be dealing primarily with customers who have already enquired about hiring our equipment and services. Your job is to understand what they need, provide the right solution, build rapport and, most importantly, convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed bookings.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys sales, is motivated by targets and commission, and knows how to confidently move a customer from an initial enquiry through to a confirmed booking.

You'll also play an important part in looking after our existing customers, answering questions and helping resolve issues when they arise.

What you'll be doing

Handling inbound sales enquiries by telephone, email and online channels
Speaking with customers to understand their event and recommend the most appropriate package
Preparing and sending quotations
Following up warm leads and outstanding quotations to convert them into bookings
Proactively managing your own sales pipeline
Handling both B2C and B2B enquiries, including private customers, venues, event companies and corporate clients
Upselling additional products and services where appropriate
Processing confirmed bookings accurately through our rental management system
Maintaining accurate customer and sales information within our CRM
Responding to existing customer enquiries quickly and professionally
Helping customers resolve problems and providing a high standard of customer service
Building relationships with repeat and business customers
Working towards individual and team sales targets
Contributing ideas to improve conversion rates, customer experience and the overall sales process

Who we're looking for

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a proven ability to convert enquiries into sales.

You'll need to be confident speaking to customers on the telephone and comfortable taking ownership of a lead rather than simply responding to an enquiry and waiting for the customer to come back.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in a sales-focused role
A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Strong telephone sales and closing skills
Experience handling inbound or warm sales leads
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence following up customers and asking for the sale
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
A naturally engaging and personable communication style
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Confidence using CRM, booking or sales management systems
The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with customer issues
A positive, resilient and commercially focused attitude
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a close-knit team

Experience within events, hospitality, travel, reservations, leisure, venue sales or hire would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We're more interested in finding someone with the right sales ability, attitude and customer focus.

What success looks like

This is a performance-driven sales position.

You'll be expected to take ownership of the enquiries allocated to you, follow them up effectively and consistently achieve strong conversion rates.

We want someone who doesn't simply send quotes, we want someone who understands how to sell, follow up and close.

At the same time, our reputation is extremely important to us. Achieving a sale should never come at the expense of providing customers with honest advice and excellent service.

Salary: £25,500-27,000 basic + uncapped commission
OTE: £32,000–£40,000+ per year

Our commission structure is uncapped and designed to reward strong individual performance. The more revenue you generate above target, the more you earn.

You take ownership of your pipeline and don't need to be continually reminded to follow leads up.
