Location: Lincoln
Salary: NMW dependent on age/experience + shift allowance

Hours of work – Day shift – 8 am-5 pm Mon to Thurs, 8 am-12:30 pm Fri

The COMPANY

Based in Lincoln the heart of the East Midlands and servicing customers worldwide, Greenstock has built a reputation for fast and effective service whilst maintaining a friendly and approachable team.

Working in both the Electrical/Electronic and Lighting industries we have a varied product portfolio with a wide customer base. Greenstock is focused on providing application-specific solutions to an OEM customer base, from both connectivity and LED lighting point of view.

Situated centrally within the LN6 area of Lincoln the site benefits from excellent public transport connections, as well as free on-site parking being available for those with their own transport.

The ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a number of assembly operators working at Greenstock, your duties will involve:

· Assembling electrical products and working as part of a team.

· Testing products using dedicated test equipment

· Overmoulding/encapsulating assembled products

· Following internal/customer-provided work/test instructions

· Collaborating with quality control, production and other staff

The CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic person with great attention to detail.

The candidate will ideally have experience within a similar environment or have a willingness to learn, allied to the desire and ability to forge a career within a market-leading organisation. The essential qualities are;

· Good work ethic,

· able to work on own initiative

· Good eyesight

· Attention to detail

· Ability to follow instructions/written or verbally communicated

· Fine motor skills

· Previous soldering experience would be desirable but not essential

Key benefits are:

· 28 days holiday per annum, including bank holidays

· Opportunities for overtime available subject to demand

· Shift premium paid for unsociable hours

· Fully employed status

· Monthly pay

· permanent role (subject to 3-month probation period)
