Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SSSTS Painter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting work on construction sites, ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction painting to contribute to diverse projects and develop their skills further.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to painting
Moving young man boards across areas required
Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality standards are met
Assist in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding and other equipment as required
Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the project duration
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks
spraying steel

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of different paints and finishes
Valid SSSTS certification or equivalent health & safety qualification
Driving licence is essential for site access and transportation of materials
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism

Pay: £21.00-£23.37 per hour
