Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our front desk team. The position involves assisting patients, completing administrative duties, and helping support office operations to ensure an efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and in-office inquiries.
Enter and update patient information in the practice management system.
Scan and upload documents as needed.
Record and verify patient details, including personal, insurance, and medical information.
Provide general information to patients or connect them with appropriate clinical staff.
Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.
Assist with billing tasks and insurance processing when required.
Maintain an organized and professional front desk area.
Work with other team members to support patient flow; if applicable, assist with scheduling or logistics related to research visits in coordination with the clinical team.

Qualifications:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Professional, calm, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of patients.
