MPS Hospitality Limited is opening a brand-new restaurant, and we're looking for enthusiastic and passionate Front of House Team Members to join our opening team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new venue, helping to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences to every guest.

What you'll be doing

Welcome and greet guests in a friendly, warm, and professional manner.
Provide excellent customer service throughout the guest's visit.
Take food and drink orders accurately and confidently.
Have a good knowledge of our food and drinks menu and confidently answer guest questions.
Recommend food and drink choices and support upselling where appropriate.
Deliver food and drinks to tables efficiently and to a high standard.
Follow our standard table service procedures and ensure guests receive attentive service throughout their visit.
Maintain clean, organised, and well-presented tables and Front of House areas throughout each shift.
Follow all food safety, health and safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures.
Process customer orders and payments accurately using the till system.
Work closely with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Handle customer queries professionally and help resolve any issues promptly.
Contribute to creating a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere that reflects authentic Sri Lankan hospitality.
Support the wider restaurant team during busy service periods whenever required.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a Front of House, waiting, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly, confident, and approachable personality.
A positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A team player who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment and a strong work ethic.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods.
The legal right to work in the UK.
