Full job description

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries

-Update patient data on a daily basis

- Respond to email enquiries
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Verify insurance coverage and process payments
- Assist with administrative and accounting tasks such as filing and scanning documents, emails, allocating payments, raising invoices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area. General light housekeeping of reception and coffee area

- Assist in the collection of data forms for audits.

- Assist and participate in department meetings

-Proactively contribute to the administrative team tasks and duties

Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
